What is Sisterhood in Tri Delta?
It’s having a study buddy to pull all-nighters with you in the library during finals week, having someone that’s ready to grab frozen yogurt or dinner with you, or always having someone to provide comfort and support or simply a shoulder to cry on. Tri Delta offers lifelong friendship and sisterhood, which each member of the chapter could not imagine living without. In the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Delta Delta at UC Irvine, Tri Delta members have bonded through chapter retreats which have taken place at designations such as Disneyland, Palm Springs, and San Diego. Through these retreats, members are able to learn more about each other as well as the chapter, take part in fun activities together, and inspire each other and strengthen the chapter. Tri Delta Members also go on “Delta Dates” in which small groups of members go to dinner, a movie, or grab ice cream and get to know each other better. No matter what setbacks a member might encounter whether it is in or after college, every Tri Delta member can count on a sister being there for them. We have created a “perpetual bond of friendship” and continue to instill confidence and character for every member of Delta Delta Delta.
